 PRONOUN AND THEIR TYPES 

PRONOUN:

      A word that is used in place of a noun or a phrase that contains a noun.

Eg: He, It, Her's, Me, Them, etc.

The most common pronouns are the personal pronouns, which refer to the person or people speaking or writing ( first person) the person or people being spoken to ( second person).

10 kinds of Pronouns

1. Personal pronoun:

     A type of pronoun use to refer to specific individuals or groups.

Eg: I , We , You , They , He , She.

I am your friend.

2. Possessive pronouns:

A type of pronoun that show ownership or possession of something.

Eg: Mine , Yours, His, Her's, It's , ours, Theirs.

That is his car.

3. Reflexive pronoun:

They are used to refer back to the subject of a sentence.

Eg: Myself, Yourself, Himself, Herself, Itself, Ourselves.

I enjoyed myself at the party .

4. Demonstrative pronounsI:

They point to or identify specific people, places, things or ideas.

Eg: This, That, These, Those.

These are sweet apples.

5. Interrogative pronoun:

They are used to ask questions and gather information.

Eg: Who, Whom, Whose, Which, What.

Who are you?

6. Relative pronouns:

They are used to connect one part of a sentence to another and show the relationship between them.

That is the school, where my father studied.

7. Indefinite pronouns:

They are used to refer to non specific people, things or ideas.

Eg: Someone, Something, Anybody, Anything, Nobody, Nothing.

Someone left their umbrella in the classroom.

8. Reciprocal pronouns:

They are used to talk about action that are done between two or more people.

Eg: EachOther, One another.

They complete with eachother 

9. Intensive Pronouns:

They are used to add emphasis to a noun or pronoun in a sentence.

Eg: Myself, Yourself, Himself, Herself, Itself.

I myself like to travel.

10. Relative possessive pronouns:

They are used to show possession and introduce clauses at the same time.

Eg: Whose, Of, Which.

*Difference between Noun and pronoun:

Noun:

Nouns are words that represents people places things and ideas. It has already been mentioned or refer to yourself and other people.

Pronoun:

It can function just like nouns as the head of a noun phrase and as the subject or object of a verb. 

Pronouns change their forms whereas nouns usually don't.
